In Kane County, our Environmental Health inspectors conduct routine risk-based inspections along with food safety complaint investigations in accordance with all state and local code requirements to help ensure safe food handling practices in permitted establishments. Inspectors work to educate all food establishment operators, their employees and the public in proper food handling procedures. The inspectors follow up on complaints to ensure that businesses are safely following all food safety rules and regulations.
