More than 500,000 babies are
born prematurely, and 28,000
children die before their first
birthday in the US. So that
babies can be born healthy and
remain healthy! Text4baby sends:
• tips for the mother’s
health timed to the exact week
of the pregnancy
• health tips for caring
for the infant timed to the
baby’s age
• information on recalls on
infant products |

Individuals: Text4baby is
designed for pregnant women,
fathers-to-be, and parents of
newborns. Grandparents and child
care givers can sign up too!
They can provide more support
for the mom-to-be or the new mom
with information and resources
on taking care of their bundle
of joy!
Communities: The national
Text4baby Coalition has engaged
many community partners to help
promote the service to local
families. The local Kane County
Text4baby partners are: the All
Our Kids Early Childhood
Network, the Kane County
Perinatal Committee, the Kane
County Circles of Wise
Women-Aurora & Elgin, and the
Kane County Health Department.
