The Illinois Tobacco Quitline is a free resource for all Illinoisans offering counseling from tobacco-cessation specialists to help you take stock of your addiction and create a personalized quit plan. You’ll have your own personal Quitline counselor who will guide you through weekly sessions scheduled at a time best for you. The Quitline offers up to eight weeks of free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to enrolled clients who are over 18 years of age, medically eligible (i.e., not pregnant, no heart conditions), and uninsured or limited insurance. ITQL now offers counseling for anyone ages 13-17 without parental consent.

The Truth Initiative
The Truth Initiative has created the first-of-its-kind text program for youth to quit vaping called This is Quitting. Youth, or concerned parents of youth who vape, can text the line to receive information on how to quit vaping and set a quit date.
