Social Connectedness Campaign
Strong social ties can reduce stress, improve mental health, lower the risk of chronic diseases, and make one feel part of a community. Meaningful connections with family, friends, neighbors, or community groups can make a big difference in personal and public health. To learn more about the health benefits of social connection and strategies to strengthen them, visit the

Organizations can help promote social connections in their communities by sharing strategies for making connections. KCHD has worked with AgeGuide to develop social media and printed flier designs that you can modify and share on your networks. For more information, contact
