The Kane County Health Department continually assesses the health of the community and ensures that programs and services are available and accessible for all residents. We investigate the causes of disease, epidemics, morbidity and mortality, and environmental health hazards using vital and health statistics. We plan and implement public education​ and enforce public health laws.​
