Stop the Bleed Train-the-Trainer Course
The Kane County Health Department offers free Stop the Bleed Train-the-Trainer courses to qualified organizations. This program provides participants with the knowledge and skills to save lives during bleeding emergencies and includes:
- Formal instruction on recognizing life-threatening bleeding
- Hands-on training in proven tools and techniques to stop bleeding
- Guidance on how to build a bleeding control kit for your organization
After completing the training, participants are invited to join our instructor network, providing them the opportunity to:
- Teach Stop the Bleed to their own organization
- Access and rent equipment from the Kane County Health Department
Who Can Apply?
Stop the Bleed Train-the-Trainer courses are available to the following types of organizations:
- Schools
- Businesses
- Faith-Based Organizations
- First Responder Agencies
