​In addition to other services, AID recently opened The Living Room, a mental health crisis alternative for adults. It is a comfortable, non-clinical space that offers an alternative to hospital emergency rooms for those experiencing stressful and anxiety-provoking situations (psychiatric emergencies) so that they can be resolved without more intensive intervention.

8-week therapy group for individuals who have lost a loved one to overdose death. The groups are aimed at processing grief, increasing support, and helping individuals build healthy coping skills as they work through their loss. We provide newly arrived refugees and other immigrants with access to basic necessities and begin them on the journey to belonging through english classes, immigration legal services, employment services, and more. We equip churches and community members with the information they need to educate, advocate and take action on behalf of our immigrant neighbors. And we work to change systems and resulting injustices that marginalize refugees and other immigrants in the U.S. We connect churches and community members with immigrant families to foster transformative relationships, where both new and long-term community members flourish and find a sense of unity and belonging.
