Kane County Health Department  - Radon Tests and Awareness
​All Kane County residents should test their homes for radon. Testing is the only way to know your home's radon level.

Radon test kits are available from the Kane County Health Department and the Kane County Development Office, as well as many local hardware stores.

Test kits for $15, which include certified lab analysis and postage, are available at:

​Immunizations: 0-18 yrs of age 

 Lead: 0-6 yrs of age with elevated blood lead levels (>5)

 T.B.: Diagnostic test positive for T.B., all ages, all payer sources

Kane County Health Department - Lead Poisoning Prevention Program
The Lead Posioning Prevention Program works with children identified by the Illinois Department of Public Health as having high blood lead levels. A nurse is able to answer questions regarding lead poisoning and provide written material to individuals or groups.
