Bereavement Support Group for Adults meets 3rd Thursday of each month at 7pm in the St. Catherine Room at 77 N. Airlite St., Elgin.

The Living Room is a mental health crisis alternative for adults offered by AID. It is a comfortable, non-clinical space that offers an alternative to hospital emergency rooms for those experiencing stressful and anxiety-provoking situations (psychiatric emergencies) so that they can be resolved without more intensive intervention.
The Living Room is open 3-8pm Monday-Thursday at Association for Individual Development, 1240 N. Highland Avenue, Aurora, IL. No appointment needed.

Genoa Pharmacy is located onsite at Ecker's 1845 Grandstand location and provides medication services, including mail delivery, pill organization, and prescription transfers from other pharmacies.

Family Guidance Centers provides comprehensive assessment, individual counseling, group counseling, and toxicology services for adolescents with a substance use disorder, aged 13-18. Adolescents typically complete between one and six hours of programming a week, depending on their needs and preferences. Participation in adolescent group is strongly encouraged to facilitate peer group learning and support. Individualized treatment planning addresses issues such as schooling, employment, psychosocial development, family support, readiness to change, and transportation, as appropriate to each individual.
Gateway’s drug addiction rehab center saves lives in Aurora, IL. We’ll use Addiction Medicine to help you recover from substance use disorder. Our drug addiction rehabilitation center in Aurora uses comprehensive and evidence-based approaches to address the social, emotional and physical aspects of addiction.
The Helpline is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance use and problem gambling treatment and recovery services, in Illinois. The Illinois Helpline refers to hundreds of treatment and recovery providers across Illinois, and we don’t operate any treatment programs. The Illinois Helpline services are always free and confidential. Our goal is to guide you to the treatment options that are best for you.
The Kane County Sheriff's Office special victims unit serves the unincorporated area of Kane County. The special victims unit umbrellas senior services, serious crimes against minors, domestic violence and sexual assault victims. The SVU focuses on investigating crimes, as well as offers social work support for community members in need of services. These services include: mental health support, substance use, juvenile complaints, hoarding, homelessness, veteran assistance, and any case requiring social services.
The KCSO also offers the A Way Out program, which provides substance abuse assessment 24/7 to anyone in Kane County that wishes to seek recovery. Appropriate inpatient or outpatient referral and placement are determined by assessment and based on availability. If you are unable to pay for treatment due to a lack of insurance or financial resources, you will not be turned away from participation in the program. Kane County works with providers that are able to accept a number of different insurance plans and accommodate those without insurance.

Midwest Asian Health Association (MAHA)’s mission is to reduce health disparities for medically underserved, low-income populations in the Midwest through providing culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate services, which include community outreach education, screening and immunization, linkage to care, mental health services, and research and policy advocacy. The agency provides mental health counseling, case management, client centered consultation, referrals to community resources and psychiatric services (limited capacity for adult referrals to psychiatric services) to clients of all age ranges, starting at age 4 and clients of all income levels. In our counseling program and psychiatric services, we do not accept referrals of adults with chronic mental illness. We also provide groups through our Emotional Wellness Program.
